Service to the Field of Higher Education

Service to the Community

Board of Directors, Whitewater Dream Fund (WDF)

WDF is a community organization that raises funds for tuition scholarships for undocumented students at UW-Whitewater

Service to the Institution

Member, Supporting Undocumented Students Working Group

Co-developed—alongside Anne Stinson (Faculty) and Gresham Collom (graduate student)—university specific resource guide for supporting undocumented students on campus. The handbook is geared towards, faculty, staff, students and their families and is updated annually.

Member, Graduate School Series Programming Committee,

Developed proposal to offer a university wide Graduate School Series. Collaborated with Undergraduate Research Program, Research and Sponsored Programs, Career and Leadership Development and the Graduate School.  The initial pilot of the series was offered in the Spring 2017, and the second launch was in the Fall 2017 to more closely align with the graduate school application timeline.

Academic Advisor, Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc., a Latina Founded, Multicultural Sorority

In this role I oversee a chapter of 8-15 active members annually. I work with the Academic Chair to develop and maintain the chapter academic plan. The chapter cumulative GPA has increased steadily throughout my leadership
